Susanville Rites for John Adams
Susanville, Calif, April 3 - Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon from the white memorial chapel for John Quincy Adams who died early Monday morning in the Woodland clinic where he had been under treatment for the last month. The Rev. E.E. Wilson of the Methodist church will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Lassen cemetery.
A native of Taylorsville, Calif., Mr. Adams was 44 years old and had lived in Lassen county for several years. He was a member of the Reno Fraternal Order of Eagles and of the Susanville butchers union.
Surviving besides his widow, Sigrid, and two daughters, Grace and Gladys Adams of Susanville, are his mother, Mrs. Grace Adams of Oroville, Calif., his father, Charles Adams of Susanville, a brother, Irvin L. Adams of Susanville, and a sister, Mrs. Viola Odette of Oakland.
