Obituary

Mrs. Sibbie Ann Geigley, aged 92 years and for nearly 60 years a resident of Shelby County, died at her home in this city early Friday morning, following an illness of about ten days duration. Death was due to pneumonia. Her maiden name was Sibbie Ann Kinney and she was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, October 14, 1835. She first came to Missouri in 1869. On June 11, 1857, she was united in marriage to W. H. Geigley, who died September 20, 1908, and to them were born ten children, five of whom are living. They are J. D. of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ira W. of Emden, Ed of Osceola, Iowa, and Misses Belle and Alta of Shelbyville. She also leaves one brother, J. S. Kinney of Hamburg, Iowa. She was a member of the Shelbyville Christian church and the funeral services were held there Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Romine of Clarence. Interment was in the cemetery here.
