Dorothy Adams, 81, of Oklahoma City and a former Hobart resident, passed away on Nov. 10, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born Feb. 13, 1930 in Stratford to Bufford and Annie (Cole) Davis. She grew up in Hobart and married L.B.Adams on Aug. 7, 1945 in Verden.
Adams lived in Lawton 40 years and was a bookkeeper for construction companies for 30 years. She has lived in Oklahoma City for the last 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Galen.
Survivors include her husband of Oklahoma City; two sons: Glen and wife Suzanne, Tuttle; Danny B and wife Judy of Claremore; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brother Jim Davis of Kingland TX; three sisters: Annamae Glidwell of Anadarko, Francis Anthony of Ninnekah; and Gustina Shive of Goldsboro NC.
