Hayden Lee Shaw was born August 4, 2003, in Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma to Lyndell Lyle Shaw and Dusti Jo Collvins. Hayden was the youngest of their three children, having an older sister Kendalyn and an older brother Garrett.

Hayden was a second grader at Blair Elementary, and a seasoned outdoorsman at the age of eight. He was happiest
fishing and hunting, usually snakes, frogs turtles, and no one was safe from his captures, as he was seldom without one or the other. He was also into sports, playing baseball and football. Other activities included watching cartoons, eating candy and just being with his family and his friends. He also loved his church, and they loved him, even the choir ladies who were introduced to one of his catches, a tarantella. That was the day when their voices soared high.

Hayden Lee passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday morning, November 17, 2011, at OU Children's Hospital, in Oklahoma City, following an accident on November 10, 2011, near Blair, Oklahoma.

He leaves a huge void in the lives of his dad Lyle Shaw, his mother and step-father, Dusti and Josh Ellison, his siblings Kendalyn Shaw, Garrett Shaw, and Kyli Ellison. He had a loving family, including his grandparents Hootie and Fran Shaw, Joe and Lori Collvins, Bobbi and Steve Smith, Chris and Delana Ellison, great grandmother Loveta Holland and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and classmates.

Our grief is strong, but we know one day we will rejoice once again with Hayden and Jesus, in that beautiful place we know as Heaven.
