Leslie Hoyle Yates age 56 of Ten Mile passed away Tuesday November 15, 2011 at his home. He was a member of Ponders Old Time Gospel Church, a carpenter by trade and pillar of the community. He loved the outdoors. Preceded in death by father William O. Yates and brother Harless Yates.
Survivors include:
Wife of 34 years Ann Cappiello Yates of Ten Mile;
Daughter Marsha Ann Hicks of Harriman;
Son James Beason of MI;
5 grandchildren;
Mother Isabea Hall Yates of Kingston;
Brothers Tooter Yates and wife Sue of Ponders Gap;
Bill Yates and wife Jacki of Sweetwater;
Pat Yates and wife Robin of Spring City
and Casey Yates of Loudon;
Sister Gloria Plemons of McMin County;
Mother in law Jane Cappiello;
Brothers-in-law Frank and Michael Cappiello and lots of special friends.

The body will lie in state from 3pm Thursday November 17, 2011 until funeral time 1pm Friday at the Ponders Old Time Gospel Church with Rev. Henry Anderson, Pat Yates and Rev. Bill Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Kelsay Cemetery. (FindAGrave)
