Gregg was born September 21, 1935 in Logan, Utah to Denise Parkinson and Shiblon Gregory Hatch, Sr.
Gregg married Martha Martinez on September 7, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas; later solemnized in the St. George, Utah LDS Temple. They had two children, Elwood Gregory Hatch (Rachel) and Barbara Ann Webb (Dana). Gregg was blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They brought so much happiness into his life.
He loved to restore old cars, loved music and played many instruments. He proudly served in the USAF from 1954-1962.
He is survived by his wife, children, and two siblings, Dorothy Lundgreen (Ralph) and Larry Hatch (Diane). He was preceded in death by his sister Marilyn Jaacks and grandson Landon Gregory Hatch.
Gregg was very active in the LDS Church and served in many callings. He really enjoyed working with the scouts and young men in MIA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in the Riverton Eighth Ward Chapel, 12345 South 2700 West. Viewings take place on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
