Revena Anderson
Revena Ada Anderson was born Aug. 1, 1899, in Oak Grove township, Prescott, to Andrew and Mary Bowles.
She as raised on a farm in Oak Grove township, graduated from River Falls Normanl school and taught school until she married.
She married Theodore Victor Anderson, June 17, 1924. They lived in Minneapolis when they were first married and later moved to Milaca, Minn. In 1932, they moved to Nye and in 1937 they moved to Prescott, where they farmed until 1951. In 1951 they moved back to Nye and lived there until they retired and moved to Luck in 1976.
She died Tuesday, May 1, 1964, at the age of 84, as a result of injuries from an auto accident at Luck.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne Delores, and a brother, James Boles.
She is survived by her husband of Luck; son James of Prescott and Darrell of Luck; 12 grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Marie Boles of Prescott.
The funeral was Friday, May 5, at West Denmark Lutheran Church with Rev. Craig Anderson officiating. Internment was at the West Denmark cemetery. Casket bearers were Ted, Steve, Mark and Peter Anderson, Scott Jensen and Willard Paul. Honorary bearers were Jeanne, Lynette, Sheila and Debra Anderson. Edling-Rowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
