Funeral services for Manning O'Neal Arant, 63, of North, will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Bull Swamp Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Arant died Friday, April 23.
He was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Jacob Carol and Ruth Amaker Arant. He was a member of Bull Swamp Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a retired truck driver. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Cain.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Taylor Arant, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela A. and Tracy Davis, of North; three grandchildren, Brittany, Jeremy and Garrett Davis; three sisters, Betty Jean Walters and Tammy Fischer, both of Orangeburg and Peggy Jeffcoat, of Savannah, Ga.; a brother, Carol "Bubba" Arant, of Jamison; and an aunt, Marjorie Arant Barber, of North.
