Helen Marie Ankrom, 84, of the Meadville Community, passed away January 5, 2011 at home.
She was born January 17, 1926 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Warren H. LeMasters and Abby Mae Davis LeMasters.
Helen was a retired secretary with Wiser Oil Company. She was a member of the Wick United Methodist Church. She was a past matron and 50 year member of the New Martinsville Chapter #50 and Ruth Chapter #7 & OES. She was also a Sunday school teacher for 50 years. Helen attended Tyler County High School and graduated from Rockaway High School NY in 1944.
She is survived by her sons, R. Jack (Hazel) Ankrom of Scottsdale, AZ and James "Jim" D. (Genie) Ankrom of Wick, WV; grandsons, Jamie Ankrom, Josh Ankrom and Rob Ankrom; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Martin LeMasters of Ferndale, CA and William LeMasters of DeBarry, FL and sister, Virginia Dinapoli of Seattle, WA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert "Bob" Ankrom.
Services will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Fox officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Wick Cemetery.
