Enzo Cerusico was an Italian actor. He started acting when he was very young and after minor roles – for instance in the movie "Cuore", in 1948, "Altri tempi", in 1951; he was also one of the photographers in the movie "La dolce vita", 1960 – he became very well-known in the United States because of his role, as Tony Novello, in an NBC series of 16 episodes in 1969, called "My friend Tony", with the American actor James Whitmore as the professor Woodruff. The Italian title was "Tony e il professore". In Italy he became also famous after his role in a television series titled "Un'estate, un inverno", in 1971. Other rilevant roles were in "Circolo Pickwick", "David Copperfield" and in "Meo Patacca". He also starred in "Magic Carpet", "Don't push, I'll charge when I'm ready", both American movies. In Italy, he also worked on the radio and even cut a record, titled "Er meno", in 1973. He married twice and had two daughters from his first wife. Enzo continued to work until an acute form of leukemia, put an end to his life.
