Lavada was married to Bailey Blankenship and had one son,my Grandfather Clyde Blankenship.In 1917 Lavada was kicked in the head by a mule and suffered brain damage.She was committed to Central State Hospital in Norman,Oklahoma. Lavada was committed on December 12,1918 and stayed until she passed in 1960.Lavada's body was donated to the State Hospital for research.Lavada needs to be remembered and Klondike is where she belongs.
