Matthew R. Berry, 18, of East Waterford, died at 1:14 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey as the result of a one-vehicle accident in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County.
Born March 31, 1982, in Lewistown, he was the son of Carl L. and Deborah H. (Zeiders) Berry, who survive.
Also surviving are: a brother, Christopher A. Berry, East Waterford; maternal grandmother, Thelma Geedy, Mifflintown; and maternal grandfather and maternal step-grandmother, Karl D. and Dorothy Zeiders, Mifflintown RR3.
He was employed as an equipment operator at Tuscarora Hardwoods, Elliottsburg.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the East Waterford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Don Walters officiating. Interment was in the East Waterford Cemetery.
There was a closed-casket visitation from 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove.
