Funeral service for Charles Calvin Alexander, 76, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Mr. Alexander entered into rest November 3, 2011 in Pell City, Alabama. He was a retired T/Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force with twenty years of service, and served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jennie Ruth Alexander; son, Danny Joe Alexander; parents, Roy and Clarice Alexander.

Survivors include his five children, Darty Alexander and wife Malea; Charles Ray Alexander, Aleta Hughes and husband Ervin; Margaret Porter, Loretta Howell and husband Richard; three sisters, Opal Sullivan and husband J.T.; Joyce Cook, Bonnie Laws and husband Bob; twenty four grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
