A WW II Navy Veteran. A well known and loved Husband, father and Businessman in the Mastic/Shirley, NY, area. Robert (Robby), leaves his wife, Marie (Mary), five children, Anthony, Nancy, Robert, Jr., (deceased), Karen, and Marianne. Passed away at the age of 52 on February 02, 1977.

Robert Sr. - Sisters are Louise, Mildred, Mary, Brothers, Gerald, Harold. Born in Italy, Mother Raffaello Romanellio and Father Antitonino (Anthony)Genovese.

Robby met Mary, at Coney Island, New York.
A favorite story Mary loved to talk about - a bit of humor - Mary often told of how she pretended to drown, at Coney Island, to get his attention. Robby did jump in to save her, which is how they met at Coney Island, married, October 28, 1945. They moved to Shirley New York, in 1958 to raise their family of five children.

The proprietor of several family owned business'...Tonys Lunch Inn, Montauk Highway in Shirley, New York. Tony's Lunch Inn and a bar named the Lucky Lady, both in Mastic Beach New York.

Robby spent much time at Goldie's Diner in Ozone Park, NY on North Conduit Avenue, Ozone Park, near JFK.

Robby and Mary are survived by five children,
Eleven Grandchildren,
six Great-Grandchildren
...and a world of people who knew and loved them both.

Headstone is beautiful. it was selected by Mom and Dad for a triple plot when we lost our brother Robby Genovese and Karen Genovese June 06, 2014. All four of them are buried in the same plot.
