Services for William Mack "Bill" Green, 62, Athens, formerly of Trinidad, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthias Episcopal Church with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Trinidad Cemetery under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens. Mr. Green died Nov 1 in an Athens hospital. He was born Sept. 7. 1940, in Malakoff to the late William Ewing and Maxine Lanier Green. He grew up in Trinidad, earned his bachelor and master's degree from the University of North Texas, Denton. He taught school 25 years, serving schools in Garland, Brownsboro and Henderson County Special Education Co-Op. retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church. Daughter Karon Ann Green preceded him in death in 1997. Survivors include his wife, G. Green; daughter, S. Houp; sister, A. C. Jones; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be J.E. Musick, Eb Kirk, Dean Cummings, Kenneth Hutton, Charles Jones and Leonard Richardson. Honorary pallbearers are Butch Ridgway, Larry Woodson, Michael Mahan, Mike Rushing and Keith Chiles. Family will receive friends 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home
