Virginia Ann Bailey
Virginia Ann Bailey, 51, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at her residence in Greenwood.
She was born May 15, 1951, in Hazard, Ky. Her parents were Charles and Vera (Felishe) Deaton. She married Albert Bailey on Aug. 16, 1974. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Paul Anthony Welch of Whiteland, Charles Wayne Welch of Franklin and John Everet Welch of Bargersville; a daughter, Teressa Ranay Benge; four stepdaughters, Tina Struthers and Donna Curnan, both of Indianapolis, Vonda Lehey of Beech Grove and Patty Burndine of Monrovia; two brothers, Charles Deaton of Bellville and Grant Deaton of Greenwood; five sisters, Wilma Kazee, Louise Carter and Chris Jones, all of Indianapolis, Till Kazee of New Jersey and Midge Pratt of Greenfield; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Deaton; and a sister Mary Lou Deaton.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Healing Grace Christian Church.
The Revs. Vitis Bailey and Joseph Quintana will conduct a service at 1 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
