Otto H. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anders Anderson, pioneer residents of Hayes township was born 3 March 1891. Here he grew to manhood and spent most of his life. He was baptized in infancy and raised in the Lutheran faith. He was honest, industrious, always giving of his best to help his fellowmen, as long as he was able. Because of ill health, he went to California in July 1947, coming back recently for a visit with his relatives and friends. He again returned to California early in December where he passed away at San Diego, 27 Dec 1947.

He leaves to mourn their loss, three sisters, Mrs. Anna Croxell, Correctionville; Mrs. W. B. Walrod, Munson, Canada; Mrs. C. O. Eisentrant, Moville; three brothers, Anton C. Anderson, Youngstown, Canada; Edward Anderson, Dawson Creek, British Columbia; John A. Anderson, Rocky River, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Sunday p.m. 4 Jan 1948 at the Arthur Evangelical Free Church, Rev. John Hedlund, officiating. Richard Tunberg sang, "What A Friend" and "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me" accompanied by Shirley Tunberg. Pallbearers were Elof Carlson, Edwin Carlson, Lester Belstene, Ed England, Addic Anderson and James Leitch. Burial was in the Hayes t
