F. Lucile Gardner, 72, 655 Cambria, Hillsdale died Monday morning in the Hillsdale Community Health Center.

She was born in Evansport, Ohio, Aug. 31, 1905 to Charles E. and Clara King Snider. She had spent the majority of her life in Hillsdale County.

On Dec. 13, 1951 she married Harold Gardner. He survives.

Mrs. Gardner was a member of Farm Bureau.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Anne) Midtgard, Jonesville; one granddaughter, Dianne Midtgard; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Luella) Moore, Middletown, Ohio; and Mrs. Kenneth (Donnabell) Flory, Defiance, Ohio; one brother, Charles W. Snider, Stryker, Ohio.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Van Horn-Eagle Funeral Home, Hillsdale, with the Rev. Leo Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset View Cemetery, Jonesville. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday to receive friends.
