ARLINGTON - Dr. Charles Winfield Phillips, 83, lifelong resident of Arlington, died Friday evening in the Putnam Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Arlington Sept 28, 1877, and until a few years ago was active in medical practice in that community.
Friends may call at the Stevens Home for Funerals, Arlington, this evening from 7 to 9 pm and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Stevens Funeral Home on Monday at 2 pm with the Rev. Clement G. Belcher, rector of St. James Episcopal Church in Arlington officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Bennington.
