EDGEWATER - Marylyn B. Buckley, 70, of Navigators Way, an assistant in the pro shop at Hidden Lakes Golf Course, New Smyrna Beach, died Tuesday at Florida Hospital Orlando.
Mrs. Buckley was born in Detroit and moved to this area in 1994 from St. Louis. She was also a former sales associate for 20 years in the drapery department at Dillard's department store, St. Louis. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, the Edgewater Landing Bridge and Poker clubs, and the Edgewater Landing Homeowners Association. Mrs. Buckley was a sorority sister of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Maryland. An avid golfer, she was also a member of Hidden Lakes Golf Course and the Volusia County Invitational Golf Club.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Alan; a son, Jerry, Fairview Heights, Ill.; three daughters, Jan Villhard and Lea Buckley, both of Palm Coast, and Kathy Jenson, Hilton Head Island, S.C.; two brothers, Henry Burr, West Palm Beach, and Walter Burr, Prescott, Ariz.; and two granddaughters. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1620 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 300, Daytona Beach, FL 32119. Dudley, Edgewater, is in charge.
