Mrs Vergia Moore Stewart, wife of Vester Stewart, Clover Farm Dairy routeman died at 2:30 am March 2, 1951 at her home at 784 Ellsworth after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was 47.

Mrs Stewart was born and reared in Finger TN., the daughter of Washinton Curtis Moore and Alena Plunk.
She married Vester Stewart, son of Thomas McGee Stewart and Minnie Tugalow Bullman. They lived in Memphis since their marriage in October 1925. Vergia was a member of the Methodist Church at Finger, TN.

Besides her husband and parents, she leaves two daughters, Mrs Kay Lee Tracy (Ed) and Miss Shirley V Stewart of Memphis; four sisters, Mrs Vonnie Lofton of Whitehaven, Mrs Arvie Young of Memphis, Mrs Vadie Droke of Adamsville, TN and Mrs Beulah Pusser of Enville, TN; and three brothers, Marlie Moore and Millard Moore of Finger, and Odie Moore of Memphis.

Services will be at National Funeral Home, Reverend George Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery.
