Born to the wife of L. T. Smith, a daughter. The little thing only weighs three pounds, but is well formed and gives promise of a long life.

The three-pound daughter born to Mrs. L. T. Smith a month ago died Saturday of whooping cough and was buried in Buffalo Cemetery Sunday afternoon. Six of Mr. and Mrs. Smith's children have whooping cough and she is very low of consumption.
