Marjory Virginia Crowley, age 91, was born Nov. 19, 1915, in Wasco, County, Ore. Marjory was called home on July 15, 2007, in Sacramento, Calif. She now rejoins her beloved husband of 48 years, the late Robert M. Crowley. The Crowley family is a Spokane and Rockford Pioneer family.
Marjory was born to Ethel and Harold Curtis, she is lovingly survived by her three children: Michael J. Crowley and wife, Sissy of Sacramento, James P. Crowley and wife, Vicki of St. Maries, and Mary Beth Broderick and husband, John of Lake Oswego, Ore. She is also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; her brother, Robert Rhodes and and his wife, Gladys, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Marjory moved to Sacramento in 1996 to be near Michael and Sissy. At the time of her passing she was residing at Primrose in the Pocket area, where our family is grateful to the staff for their gentle care. For many years she worked with her husband in family businesses, the Wine House in Spokane, and Panhandle Distributors in Coeur d'Alene.

Her life was totally devoted to her family, to all levels of education, volunteerism, gardening, creative arts, and especially quilting. In her retirement years she studied Spanish and traveled to Mexico twice to study Spanish with her granddaughters. As a widow, Marjory built a home overlooking Bead Lake in Washington, where she could live and enjoy entertaining her family and friends.
