He had a full brother, William Fredrick 14 Jul 1884-29 Oct 1968 (Nellie "Nell" Harrington 10 Mar 1880-20 Feb 1945) and one foster sister, Helen Josephine Fredrickson 29 Oct 1898-10 Aug 1989 (Ordin Mjolsness 2 Oct 1891-4 Sep 1943).
Henry farmed with his father and later his brother all of his life. He was a member of the Landstad Lutheran Church and did not marry.
He died as a result of an automobile accident as he and his brother were traveling to their winter home in Brownsville, TX. Henry died 30 Oct 1968 at Sioux Falls, SD. His funeral was held at the Bethania Lutheran Church, rural Perley, MN 4 Nov 1968.
