Monroe's sister, Rachel was born 1n 1853 at Hector. Rachel married Morris L. Bulkley, son of James B. Buckley and Betsey Cook of Wayne in 1869. Rachel second married a Mr. Coles of Wayne, after Morris died near Sonora in 1902. Rachel died in 1916 and is thought to be buried in Mount Washington Cemetery in Urbana. Morris and Rachel had three children, Ida born 1870, Frederick "Freddie" (DOB 1876) and Maggie "Rose" M. Buckley (DOB 1879).
