Mrs. Bailey was born in Erwin, TN, and moved to Wildwood in 1956. She was a beautician in Leesburg, excellent seamstress and enjoyed needlecrafts. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wildwood.
Survivors include husband Carlos W. Bailey Jr.; daughters Terri Bailey Alsobrook, Brooklet, GA, and Carla Bailey, Oxford; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel with interment following the service in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.

Mrs. Barbara Jane (Furches) Bailey, 72, of Wildwood, died Sunday, October 30 at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, after a lengthy illness.
Born November 21, 1938, to the late Marvin V. Furches and the late Dollie Broyles Furches of Erwin, TN, she married Carlos W. Bailey, Jr. on October 28, 1956, and relocated to Wildwood, FL., and began her life as a railroad wife.
Barbara Jane was a beautician in Leesburg, an excellent seamstress and needlecrafts expert, in addition to being a wonderful housewife and beloved mother.
She was baptized a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Erwin, TN when a young girl. Her married life was spent raising her family in the Presbyterian Church of Wildwood.
Survivors include her husband Carlos W. Bailey, Jr.; daughter Terri Bailey Alsobrook (Mrs. Kendell Alsobrook) of Brooklet, GA; daughter Carla Bailey (Mrs. Winston Bailey) of Oxford, FL; grandson Joshua Middleton of Oxford, FL; granddaughter-in-law Kadi Caruthers Middleton; grandson Jake Middleton of Wildwood, FL; grandson Austin Alsobrook of Augusta, GA; granddaughter Alyssa Alsobrook of Brooklet, GA. and three great grandchildren.
