Hortense-Mrs. Connie Bryan Miller, 80, of Hortense died early Monday morning (October 31, 2011)
At Hospice of the Golden Isles after a short illness.
Born in Hortense, GA. her parents were Buster B. & Sarah Rowell Bryan. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Derrell Lyle Miller and a sister Sally Bryant.
Connie was a retired Special Education Teacher and attended Hortense Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include 2 sons & their spouses, William Bryan & Rita Miller of Hortense, and Douglas & Harriet Miller of Dallas, Texas; 2 Daughters & their spouses, Maureen & Scott Orr of Hortense, and Melinda & Jeff McKim of Macon, GA; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Jones of Knoxville, TN, & Josephine & Roy Crews of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening (November 2, 2011) starting at 6 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (November 3, 2011) at 3 PM at Hortense Wesleyan Church with Rev. Peter Lamos officiating.
Burial will follow in Satilla Cemetery, Hortense.
Pallbearers will be Donald Crews, Dennis Crews, Mitchell Crews, Micah Davis,Pat Jones, and Eugene Jones.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
