Pearl Cecilia Farnworth, 67, of Sunnyside died Friday at her home.

She was born Feb. 16, 1941 to Callie and Mae Hicks in Dayton, WA. She attended Grandview High School.

On February 3, 1964, she married LaVerne C. Farnworth in Lewiston, Idaho. She was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident, primarily residing in Sunnyside, but also for a time lived in Grandview and Prosser.

She was primarily a homemaker. She was a simple woman, She loved to watch movies, gamble, go to the casino, camp, fish, and travel with her husband.

She is survived by two sons and 3 step-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne C. Farnworth, parents, Callie and Mae Hicks: sisters, Betty Jean Browning and Ellen Withers: and two daughters, Betty Jean Farnworth and Linda Lee Knowles.
