Nadine Henry Steel Bancroft, 79, of North Richland Hills passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Ernest W. and Ida Mae Wilson Henry on Aug. 18, 1932, in Bonham, Texas.

Nadine was a registered nurse, fulfilling her passion of helping others. She was a member of the Visiting Nurses Association for more than 20 years in Dallas and also worked in Home Health Care. Nadine enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. She loved her family and spending time with them. She will truly be missed by so many.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Bancroft of North Richland Hills; her daughters, Patricia Watson of North Richland Hills, Judy Hodge of Red Oak; her sons, Jerald Eddie Bancroft Jr. of Blossom, Texas and Mark Steel and his wife, Holly of Wichita Falls; her brother, Dr. Jimmy Henry and his wife, Bennie of Sulphur Springs; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Francis Fallwell; and by her son, David Lynn Bancroft.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating.

Visitation for family and friends is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011.
