DELLA L. HARRISON

Funeral services for Mrs. Della L. Harrison, long-time Florence resident, were held Saturday, May 11 at 2 p. m. from the Florence Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Paul Shipman, assisted by Rev. Ron Cleaver, officiating.
Organ selections were rendered by Mrs. Dom DelDuca and pall bearers included William Slack, George Romontio, Charles Cristelli, Paul Layman, Rev. Cleaver and Bill Harrison. Burial was in Union Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison, 73 years of age, died early Thursday morning, May 9, at a local hospital following a lingering illness of several years, becoming serious three weeks ago.
Born Nov. 234, 1894 at Karney (sic), Okla., she moved to Florence from Oklahoma in 1911 and has been a resident here for 57 years.She was married to Alva Marion Harrison on Nov. 25, 1912 at Florence. Mr. Harrison preceeded (sic) his wife in death in 1947.
Survivors include a son, Lee H. Harrison of Florence; four grandchildren, Mrs. Norma Rix, of Florence, Nancy Ann Layman of Denver, William Harrison of Canon City and Naomi Harrison of Florence; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
