Pueblo Chieftain newspaper on April 25th, 1913 "PIONEER FOUND DEAD IN BED YESTERDAY
Mrs. Eliza H. Green, 75, had been victim of Heart Disease
Special to the Chieftain.
Florence, April 24--Mrs. Eliza H. Green, aged 75 years was found dead in bed at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Greefe, of Wetmore, this morning, and it is thought that her demise was due to heart failure, to which attacks she was subject. She had been complaining of feeling bad for the past few days but was able to be about as usual yesteday and the family did not think her condition serious. The deceased is one of the old timers of this city and located here with her husband some forty-four years ago. Her husband, David Green, died about four years ago.
Mrs. Green is survived by seven married daughters: Mrs. Charles Greefe of Wetmore, Mrs. Julia Pierce of Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Lizzie Hartman of Fresno, California, Mrs. Molly Coots of Pueblo, Mrs. Teresa Trivepp of Taft, California, Mrs. Amanda McLeud of Taft, California, and Mrs. Isabell Jones of Salt Lake City. The arrangements for the funeral will not be announced until after word has been received from the telegrams sent the daughters apprising them of their mother's sudden death."
-----
This obit indicates that she was born in 1837, but the 1900 Census shows May of 1848 and the 1870 and 1880 indicate 1845. The obit also lists a daughter Mrs. Molly Coots of Pueblo (should be Dolly Kuntz); Mrs. Teresa Trivepp of Taft, California (should be Teresa Trivett.
