Funeral services for Carl A. Abraham, 85-year-old Florence resident, who died at his home at 110 West Fourth Monday morning at 2:15, wee held Wednesday at 11 a.m., at the Florence mortuary chapel with the Rev. J. Frederick Speer officiating. Mrs. J. V. McCandless played appropriate organ selections.
Born Feb. 24, 1873, at Neustetten, Germany, Mr. Abraham moved to Florence 15 years ago following his retirement with the Public Service company of Boulder and Denver.
A resident of Denver for 35 years, he had moved west from New Jersey, where he had lived for seven years after coming from Germany.
A batchelor, Mr. Abraham is survived by his sister, Mrs. Martha Gehring, of Florence and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers wee Charles Bruedern, Charles Conrado, Joe Rigorozzi, John Kilpatrick, Virgil and Chris Gehring.
Burial was at Union Highland cemetery under direction of the Florence mortuary.
