Carrie Elizabeth Moore Arp, 98, of East Brainerd, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, in a local health care center.
A native of Cleveland, Tenn., she had lived in Chattanooga for most of her life. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and was the widow of the late Ralph M. Arp.
Survivors are her daughter, Betty Ann Smith, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Mark Smith, Ringgold, Ga., Philip Smith, Atlanta, Terry and Ginger Smith, both of Chattanooga; four great-grandchildren, Jason, Julia, Jennifer and Alaina Smith.
Graveside services will be held today, Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
