Obituary of Katherine A. "Kandy" Burrows
Smethport - Katherine "Kandy" Grinolds-Burrows, 51, of Smethport, died Wednesday (June 10, 2009) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
She was born Oct 13, 1957 in Olean, NY, a daughter of Frank S. and Anne M. Acre Grinolds.
Mrs. Burrows was a 1976 graduate of Smethport High School and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, playing bingo, reading, playing Yahtzee, and visiting with friends and relatives. She spent her last few years with her sisters by her side. She was deeply loved by all of them.
She is survived b daughter: Molly A. Grinolds
Grandson, Stephen Frank Grinolds
son: James B. (Bridget) Burrows, Jr.
granddaughters, Morgan J., Kayla L., and Leah M. Burrows
sisters: Maria (Leon) Snyder, Beth (Paul) Lewis, Gloria (Troy Appleby) Grinolds.
A special Aunt and Uncle, and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to be held on Sunday, June 14, from the Coryville Church of Faith, at 2 pm, with the Rev. Greg Wolters, officiating. Burial will be in Moody Hollow Cemetery.
