Mrs. Frank J. Malecha, 64, of Lonsdale died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 31, 1969, at the Queen of Peace Hospital, New Prague, after suffering with cancer. She had been seriously ill for about six weeks. The funeral mass was conducted on Saturday, Jan. 3, by the Rev. Otto W. Neudecker at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church at Lonsdale where Mrs. Malecha was a member. Interment was in Calvary cemetery at Lonsdale. The arrangements were made by the Lonsdale mortuary Mrs. Malecha was the former Lillian Sevcik, daughter of John and Anna (Trnka) Sevcik. She was born on July 26, 1905, in Wheatland township, Rice county. On October 29, 1923, she married Frank J. Malecha and they always made their home in this area. She was active in the Rosary society of the church at Lonsdale.
