Professional Wrestler. Durante who was born in Pennsylvania in 1967 appeared as 'Pitbull #2' of the Wrestling Tag Team 'The Pitbulls' alongside his friend Gary Wolfe, who was known as 'Pitbull #1 that was popular in the 1990s. At 6'2' and 225lbs Durante along with Gary Wolfe joined the Extreme Wrestling Championships (ECW) and fought from 1994 to 1997. In September 1995 'The Pitbulls' won the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) World Tag Team Titles from Raven and Steven Richards in one of the greatest matches in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) history. In 1996 Durante won the Extreme Championship (ECW) Television Titles beating wrestler Steve 'The Franchise' Douglas. In 1998 Durante received a tryout from the World Wrestling Federation Entertainment (WWFE) but did not make the cut. Some of Durante's fights include "ECW November to Remember" (1997), "ECW Barely Legal" (1997), "ECW: The Three Way Dance" (1995),"ECW Return of the Funker" (1995),"ECW Double Tables" (1995), "ECW Hardcore Heaven" (1994),"ECW Heatwave" (1994), and "ECW November to Remember" (1994). Durante was found dead in Westerly, Rhode Island, on September 25, 2003, along with his girlfriend, from a possible drug overdose. He was 36 years old.
