MRS. VIOLA CHEW BOALS, 83, widow of Levi Boals, of Pavonia, died at her home Tuesday following a heart attack.

Born near Rome, Ohio, April 2, 1871, the daughter of William and Matilda Whisler Chew, she had lived in this area all of her life.

Surviving are one son, George Boals at home; three daughters, Miss Susie Boals at home, Mrs. Hazel F. Stimpert of Olivesburg, and Mrs. Alma Harlan of Mansfield RD4; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Dick of Mansfield.

Friends may call at the J.H. Finefrock & Sons Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Francis S. Norris, pastor of the Pavonia Methodist Church. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
