Alva Clarence (A.C) Barnett, Jr., 65 passed away Sunday October 23, 2011. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Ochelata Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Alva was born September 17, 1946 to Alva and Eunice (Terry) Barnett in Borger, Texas. He married Barbara Jean Brady and from this union one daughter and three sons. Alva retired from National Zinc Company after 42 years of service.
Survivors include wife Barbara, daughter Peggy Day and husband Richard, 3 sons, Allen Barnett, Bobby and wife Debra Barnett, Michael and wife Shala Barnett, 6 grandchildren, Richie Day and wife Ashliegh, Robby Day, Colton, Lyssa, Baylee and Reese Barnett; 2 sisters, Patty McGonigal and husband Bobby and Phylis Massingil. Alva was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
