Mrs. Asay was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Volunteer Engine Company #2 in Manasquan, NJ & Manasquan Methodist Church for 60 years.
She is pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Brown Asay in 1997, and brothers Frederick and Albert Herbert. She is survived by her daughter, Mary V. Asay of Philadelphia, PA, brother, C. Raymond Herbert of Brielle, NJ, and sister, Dorothy Herbert of Wall, NJ. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11-12pm at Manasquan United Methodist Church, 23 Church St. Manasquan, NJ with a funeral service at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan. Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St. Manasquan, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
