MRS. AMOS ALDRICH
Widow of Prominent Woodford Citizen Died Thursday Night
Mrs. Amos Aldrich died Thursday night at her home at Woodford Hollow. Mrs. Aldrich was born, Nov. 5, 1833 at Prospect, Conn., and was the daughter of Daniel Hitchcock and Rebecca Downs.
She was married, July 4, 1850, to the late Amos Aldrich of Woodford, one of the leading democrats of the state and general manager of the Bennington and Glastenbury, R.R. and Lumber Co.
She is survived by a son, three daughters and one sister. The funeral will be held at the house at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
