He also appeared on several episodes of the television programs, "The Andy Williams Show,"in 1962, "Screen Actors Playhouse" in 1955, as 'Clem Waters,' "Your Show Of Shows" in 1952,"What's My Line?" in 1952, and "The Kate Smith Evening Hour" in 1952. He was the father of actors Wil Shriner and Kin Shriner. Shriner died at the age of 51 on April 23, 1970, in a road accident in Delray Beach, Florida.
