At the time of George Wilson Stewart's birth in 1897, Rockland Idaho was in the county of Oneida. Married Helen May Capes 28 May 1921 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. Together they had Veda Katherine Stewart and Lavon Jean Stewart. His wife Helen passed in 1941 and George remarried a total of 4 more times, divorced one, out lived two more and was married to Bertha Bingham at his death.
George is also a direct descendent of 4 men who came over on the Mayflower. Gov. William Bradford is his 6th Great Grandfather, William Brewster is his 7th Great Grandfather, Stephen Hopkins is his 8th Great Grandfather, Francis Cooke is also his 8th Great Grandfather.
George served his country for the Navy in both WWI & WWII.
