THE LEBANON ENTERPRISE, p. 1, Fri. May 5, 1900. DEATHS. Mrs. Ellen Hayden, of Calvary, died at the residence of her daughter, Miss Elvira Hayden, of old age, Friday, April 27, 1900. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father McDonald Saturday after which her remains were interred in the Calvary cemetery. Deceased was 85 years of age and the widow of James Hayden who died about nine years before her. Mrs. Hayden was the mother of fifteen children all of whom are dead William Hayden and Elvira Hayden of Calvary and Mrs. Teresa Shively of O'Neil, Nebraska. Mrs. Hayden was born April 22, 1815, was married April 22, 1830 and died April 24, 1900. She was a good christian lad a devout Catholic and a devoted mother. One of her shining virtues was her charity for the poor and sick whom she always gave relief and assistance. May she rest in peace.
