Dorothy A. York, 69, died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Nov. 12, 1923, in Chicago. Her parents were Ralph and Jesse A. (Paszkowski) York.
She worked in the offices at Aetna for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
She was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years at Glenns Valley United Methodist Church. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. She was an avid shopper.
The Rev. Dan Rasmussen will conduct a service at 10 a.m. today at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, Ill.
