Dorothy Rose Morgan (Mom) attended White Rock School in Jane, Missouri. Mom and Dad met while Mom was working at the Ideal Cafe in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas and Dad was delivering ice there. Mom and Dad later married in Noel, Missouri. Five children were born to them before moving to Arizona in 1955, where their last six children were born. Locating first in Coolidge before relocating to Winkelman and then later purchasing a home in Kearny, Arizona in early 1959. Mom worked lastly for the Copper Basin News for many years. They spent their retirement years in Mesa, Arizona at their "Hawes House" as Mom called it. Mom was known as a great cook. She loved her family and was a kind and generous person. It has been said that she never met a stranger.
