Clarence Edward Adams was born March 10, 1917 in Hood County, Texas to Augusta Horton Adams and Eva Ione Ennis Adams. He was reared in Fort Worth, Texas where he married Ona Catherine Fitzgerald. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII. Mr. Adams retired as a master electrician. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Adams of Midland; three children, Norma Skelton of Granbury, Texas, Otis Adams of Midland and James Adams of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Adams passed away Saturday, February 23, 2002 in Midland.
Visitation with the family will be 6:00-7:00 PM, Monday, February 25, 2002 in Ellis Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2002 in Westside Church of Christ with Floyd Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brien Skelton, Jason Skelton, Sid Saunders, Randy Brown, Gary Webb, and Ben Nicholson.
