Twila E. Ramer, 86, Orchard Park, N.Y., formerly of Kiski Township, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y.
The daughter of Mervin and Viola Bash Berkey, she was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Grant Township.
Mrs. Ramer had lived in Kiski Township and the Apollo areas most of her life, having spent the last four years in Orchard Park, N.Y. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her garden and taking care of her flowers.
Surviving are (living relatives removed for privacy) 32 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H. Blair Ramer; and five sons; Ronald H., James D., Clair E., Robert H. and Arthur L. Ramer.
Friends will be received at the Gerald J. Medice Funeral Home, North Apollo, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment will be made in Elderton Cemetery.
