John Leo Brown 74, of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday March 18, 1972 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 10 1897 in Washington, Iowa, to Charles Albert & Sarah Jane ( Davis ) Brown

Mr. Brown had lived in the Kansas City, MO area for fifty years.

He married Minnie Jane Howard Nov 11, 1923 (who proceeds him in death) then married his second wife (who survives him )

He retired in 1963 as truck driver for Imperial Casket Company, where he had been employed for thirty years. He then worked until last year as a parking attendant at the Kansas City Municipal Terminal.

Mr. Brown was a Methodist.

Mr. Brown is proceed in death by both parents, one brother Robert Irving Brown & one sister Nellie Jane Brown

Mr. Brown is survived by: wife Dorothy of Kansas City, MO; a son John Charles of Kansas City, KS; a son Alonzo Raymond of Raytown, MO; a daughter Ida Jane of Kansas City, KS; step son of Beaverton, OR; step daughter of Drexel, MO; two step daughters of Kansas City, KS; a brother of Franklin, AR; sister of Chanute, KS; sister of Sedalia, MO; sister of Corpus Christi, TX, 14 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren.
