June29-- Mr. Bernard Hall, age 82 of Oak Park, died Monday, June 29, 2009 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. He was a native of Emanuel County, and lived most of his life in Treutlen County. He was a lifelong farmer, a member of the Mt. Shady Missionary Baptist Church, was an avid hunter, and had a love for horses and dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie M. and Virgie Wilkes Hall, and a brother, Buford Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Joyce F. Hall of Oak Park, one nephew, Billy W. Hall and Sue of Ludowici, one niece, Brenda H. Handcart and Jules of Smithfield, North Carolina, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Bernard Hall will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Mt Shady Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Owen Waters officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00. Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
