Russell W. Deppe, 92, of Belleville, Ill., born June 19, 1919, in Belleville, Ill., died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Sycamore Village, Swansea, Ill.
Russell retired after 43 years from Stag Brewery. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, nee Moore Deppe; parents, Frank and Martha, nee Westwood Deppe; sister, Valera Deppe and a brother, Eugene Deppe.
Surviving are his sons, Donald (Christine) Deppe of Kingwood, Texas and Robert Deppe of St. Louis, Mo.; grandsons, Earl Ostertag and Josiah Ostertag; dear beloved uncle and brother-in-law.
